Your PPE kit should include two layers of eye protection, such as goggles and a face shield. Goggles cover above and below the eyes, deflecting liquid splashes, while the face shield adds a second layer of skin protection. Use rubber or neoprene gloves to prevent contact with acid, and a flashlight to safely inspect the battery. Include printed instructions for battery maintenance, and ensure all associates receive proper training. Additional tools like a rubber apron, battery cap remover, cleaner, and acid neutralizer can enhance protection.
